Got glitter? Or should I ask- Got enough glitter? I don’t think so. And if you know me, you know that having glitter isn’t enough, but organizing multiple bottles of colorful German glass glitter is just as fun as using the glitter itself!
Meyer Imports has not only supplied me with some fabulous colors and fun little storage bottles to organize my new glitter, but they’ve shared enough for a dual giveaway!
I usually like to make something with the products in the giveaway, however, before I could get crafting with the glitter, I wanted to design some labels for the bottles to share as FREE PDF downloads! You can see all the labels below and to access your FREE glitter label PDF files click HERE. So, when you go to Meyer Imports online store and order your own supply of glitter (or the many other products offered) and a few sets of bottles, simply print the label sheet(s) you like, cut out the specific ones that pertain to your supply or modify and customize your own! Also, feel free to use the label files for any of your organizing or craft projects. You can use a 1″ circle punch to cut out the lid labels or use a decorative scalloped edge punch instead.
Here are the two Meyer Imports Take & Make sets, each over a $40 value. Each winner will receive one of the sets, randomly chosen by me.
Set 1 includes 2 one-ounce packs of the following 90 grit fine glitter blends: Mardi Gras, Blue Moon, and Pink Sunrise. Also included are a one set of 3 two-ounce bottles.Set 2 includes 2 one-ounce packs of the following Gold glitter: 100 grit very fine, 8o grit coarse, 70 grit very coarse. Also included are a one set of 3 two-ounce bottles.
To enter the giveaway, please leave a glitter related comment. Yup, it’s that easy. Entry deadline is this Friday night, March 5 at 11:59 pm. I will draw and announce the winners on Saturday, March 6. BE SURE you leave me a way to contact you if you win. If your comment links to your blog, make certain there’s a link on your blog for emailing.
In the meantime, go check out all the fun at Meyer Imports. For your FREE glitter label PDF files click HERE.

I love love love glitter! Especially the super fine kind. When I was in high school I had an old pair of sneakers I glitterfied. I painted them in silver glitter and added some hints of glow in the dark paint. I used to get compliments on them while riding the subway. Eventually they got so worn out I couldn't wear them anymore, but gosh I loved those shoes!
I am a glitteraholic! Love the bottles!

I love that Meyer Imports is a family run business with glass workers in their background. My daughter has learned to work with stained glass, and she dreams of working with glass glitter and glass bead-making. I'm very pleased that she has found the right medium with which to express herself.
If I were to win this generous giveaway, the glitter would go to my daughter. Still, I wouldn't be able to resist some experimentation myself: glitter and fabric? Leaves covered with glitter? All sorts of glittery ideas in my mind.

love these labels! So many fun uses for them! And my relationship with glitter? Hasn't matured past my 8 year budding artist days when I couldn't ever use just a "little" bit and always made a mess! I have some accessories that are meant to make the process less messy but it never fails that I end up with tiny bits of glitter on my clothes, person, and floor!
Eeek I adore glitter! Your labels ROCK! Thanks so much for sharing.

Who can say no to glitter? I think I found a way to control the glitter a bit on the object – I was decoupaging and didn't like the way it was coming out so I tossed glitter onto the area recently coated – LOVED it. Did it on all four sides!!! It just doesn't photo well, sigh.
I love making handmade cards for family and friends, so any of these glitters would be wonderful!
I've always wanted to cover an everyday object with glitter to make it a bit more fun and festive. Kind of like the fake deer skulls with antlers all glitzy. Thanks for the chance to win!
Ah! Glitter! The joy of crafty females everywhere and the bane of the males who must find it in their hair and in their ears weeks after the ladies' latest project! 🙂 Absolutely lovely!!

Thanks for the awesome labels too!!!!

just like fairy dust!!! who doesn't like fairy dust? Oh boy do I just love glitter:).
Oh Glitter, how I love thee. I am going to glitter things for my daughters room
A couple years ago we had a "Wizard of Oz" theme going on for Halloween. I have 6 kids and everyone except the oldest dressed as a character. (He went as Waldo as in "Where's Waldo?") My youngest daughter was of course Dorothy and I could not find a pair of red sparkly shoes in her size. So, we bought a pair of red mary janes and proceeded to glitterize it with tacky glue and ample, and I do mean ample, amounts of red glitter. My daughter loved the glitterizing so much – she proceeded to glue and glitter her bed, her green carpet and her bookshelf. Even now – her carpet still glints sparkly red.
i love glitter!
I love glitter! It's always fun to use and I am eager to use glitter with my little lovlies for crafts!
Thanks!

one of my favorite craft products is glitter…it adds a touch of glam to no matter what you are making!
Glitter is contagious! But I love it anyway.
I have no weddings, and I make earthy jewelry. My secret lust is glitter. One Christmas, I found Elvis Christmas cards, and glitterized them with glitter pens. It was way cool, and everyone (even my non-glitter loving peeps) liked them. I heart glitter. All sorts! Pens….glue….oh glitter.

I love the tarnished look, to an extent, but when it starts turning really brown, well,,,,,,you know! Love any words of wisdom!

I did glittered Christmas cards this year, first I stamped an old truck with a tree in the bed, then put green glitter on the tree, black glitter on the tires and green and red glitter on the little wreath hanging from the side mirror
they really turned out cute and I love using glitter
I'm redecorating my scrapbook room and looking for pretty ways to display my supplies, so I love the labels! And oh how I would love the glitter to display on my new shelves, too!

Glitter my world – this glitter looks so much nicer than the typical glitter I use. Do they have glitter glue – must check.

Ok, so one of my greatest memories of all time involved glitter. My husband and I were making a kooky video spoof of the Blair Witch Project for my mom's surprise 50th birthday party and there was one shot where my husband pretended to be knocked out by my mom who had found out about the party. He lifted his groggy head off of the table and his face had glitter stuck all over it. It was one of the funniest shots, and the film ended up being one of the highlights of the party. Thanks for the reminder. I love glitter.
wow great blog and post.
I too share a love of glitter.. I used to have a glitter tv even.
Now I just use it in my resin jewelry
I'm afraid to enter knowing what my one and two year old children would do if they found this… That said, we're doing a tree for our hospital's fundraiser this year and it would be cool to use the glitter on it. Thanks for the chance. I love all your graphics!
Laura
I think German Glass glitter is the prettiest. Even better than Martha Stewart's which every one seems to love. I admit I am somewhat fascinated with it, and I have often recommended German Glass glitter to people when I see them asking about glitter on the forum.
Also it was nice of you to make the label downloads.
PussDaddy
Can you ever have too much glitter? And those labels are lovely, they make the glitter so much better. Thanks for sharing.

I was never allowed to use glitter as child. My mom thought that it made the biggest mess. I LOVE glitter now and feel like such a rebel using it on everything. I hope I win. sharonkaysimons@yahoo.com
When I was in college in the early 1970s, my summer job was as a traveling craft teacher for our town's parks department. Each day I'd visit a different park and present a craft project for however many children showed up. Three little sisters showed up regularly one summer and no matter what the featured craft happened to be, it was never finished for them unless they had the chance to add some glitter to it. I nicknamed them the Glitter Sisters and still think of them fondly whenever I see a jar of glitter.
I would love to be considered in your generous giveaway. Everyone needs a little glitter in their life!
Ooooo – glitter! So lovely. I know a certain Grand daughter (and her Grandma!) who would have a lot of fun with this!
I just LOVE glitter! Pick me!
I will always remember using glitter at home and school using elmers glue. While waiting for our projects to dry, we'd paint our hands with glue and then dab up the remaining glitter that didn't get siphen back into the container. Oh so much fun! Now my 5 year old gets to do it! Thanks for the giveaway!
how fun! great photos too
Glitter is always fun! Even when it doesn't wash off no matter how hard you scrub! How does it do that….?
I have loved using glitter again! I keep thinking of more apps for it. Best of all it takes me back to my childhood. Yay for glitter!
Leave to admire in the bottles or use at every opportunity? Sprinkle at home or out and about?
Glittery questions before me today! Yay!
Love love love the beautiful colors of the glitter! And the bottles to put them in are beautiful too! Can think of so many projects to use it on! 🙂 Thanks for the chance to win these!
What a lovely glitterific giveaway. I have never tried German glass glitter, but it looks absolutely lovely.
When I was in high school I was called the glitter girl because I wore glitter all over my face every day. I also wore glitter jeans. Yeah. I was in high school in the late 90's. Everyone was doing it. One time, at the store I worked at, someone was cleaning up a glitter mess left behind by a greeting card, and said, "look, Heather sneezed!" I still love glitter, I just don't wear it anymore.
augustgirl01 (at) hotmail (dot) com
so, did you know that glitter is the crafters STD? No matter how hard you try to clean it up, it always comes back. I love glitter!!!! Holy Schnikies, Cathe! What a woman you are! Not only are you offering not one, but TWO glitterfabulous giveaways, but on top of that you make a bunch of awesome labels for us! How did we get to be so lucky to know you?! I'm dying for some GGG (German Glass Glitter). Yeah, I like to make acronyms for everything. Makes me feel more "cool" like those young whipper-snappers these days who talk in txt language (BFF, IDK, etc.) Incidentally, GGG reminds me of one of MY favorite sayings (which is applicable to me winning one of these awesome drawing prizes): YGG! (You Go Girl!) How's that for a Glitterific comment to win? At the very least, I hope I made you grin. 🙂 email is on my blog. Thanks.
Oh yeah, and one more thing (like I haven't already said enough!) Another reason I want some awesome GGG is so I can cover my 6'4", 375lb. husband with it. Then I'll have my very own Edward, right?
Glittery yum….all of the lovely things glitter can be added to. Not the least, my poodle (just kidding). Maybe my front door though.

Glitter just makes the world a happier place. I made glittered silhouettes of my daughters and my dog. It is posted under 'stuff' on my blog if you want to see some bad photos. I don't have a photo of my dogs but it is so so so cute. When my girls saw it, they both said it was pretty obvious who I love the most (the dog). These are just beautiful and a very nice giveaway.
Love you glitter bottles. The labels are so fab. Would work really well for jam and other preserves.
I love glitter too and sometimes use it with Fimo to add a little sparkle. 🙂
GLITTER….glorious glitter…where would the world be without glitter?!? It would be a sad, forlorn, sparkle free, whimsy lacking place, I know….I got away from my romance with glitter for a few years…..from about age 11 to age 50 I did not interact much with my old flame, but I'm back in love with it again, can't live without it now…and cannot afford to buy the nice stuff, so I hope!hope! hope! I'm a winner in your wonderful giveaway. And thanks for all the sharing you do, Cathe, all the time.
By the way, I LOVE the old couch fabric you scooped – way to go. How about making some Victorian tussie mussies out of that gorgeous fabric, eh?

I adore glitter. When I first began working in theatre (I'm a playwright) I assisted a musical theatre director with an all-children's show that wasn't coming together very well. He wasn't worried, saying, "At the end of the last number, they'll throw glitter… that always gets the audience." Sure enough, it worked! People were dazzled! : )
I made my first and only purchase of german glass glitter 3 years ago. It is so beautiful that I can't bring myself to use it. I have it on display in my crafting area and several times throughtout the year use the jars to decorate in colors of the season.

My partner at work bought me some Twilight "Volturi" eyeshadow for Christmas and, nerdy as it is, I am wearing it right now and my eyes are all sparkly and glittery. Though, for the record, as much as I enjoy Twilight, the fact that vampires glitter is lame.
Glitter makes everything more glamorous and just special. I like it on vintage images, but I'm sure there are a lot more clever uses I can discover. And, German glitter is supposed to be the best. AND, a container & label? I'm delirious with joy.
Wow – the labels are awesome and since I have never used German glass glitter I can only imagine how wonderful it is! One of our young ladies at church is getting married soon and she is a Glitterata so I am definitely going to go to the Meyer website and check out what they have. Also, thank you for the generous giveaway! Karin

When I was in college we used to make jokes about a certain other sorority, because EVERYTHING they did or made had glitter pouring off of it.
I mean, it was really excessive.

I started getting into the glitter scene last Halloween when I glittered bags and bags of skulls, bugs and bats. Now I'm hooked–I love making non-sugar sugar skulls, adding touches to paper crafts and givng a bit of shine to holiday decorations.
Thanks!
Love glitter, the labels are fab.
Oh I love glitter and I thank you so much for making it easier to organize. I love your blog and appreciate you sharing all of your wondeful ideas. Only wish I was so creative.
I didn't catch the glitter bug until last fall, and I have to admit…I cannot get enough of it…I'd love to win, please enter me!
All that is gold does not glitter (true) but if I had some of that beautiful glitter, I would certainly make a lot of things sparkle. Please consider me for your give-away. How sweet of you to share.

Make me sparkle like the stars!!!
EEEK! My wedding is in two weeks and I'm severely disappointed that I didn't know about Meyer Imports before now. Green and gold glitters would have been perfect for our favors (already finished)! But would still be marvelous for the remaining signage and decorations we're working on. Pennant flags with our initials in glitter?
Anyway, if I win, it will save me a ton of time because a pack of all-purpose pre-chosen gold glitter means I don't have to spend several covetous hours on that site.
Thanks!
Glitter makes everything great! Love your labels, they are awesome!!

I help my friend out watching her girls (who like to draw and craft more than my son does) and I let them use my stamps and glitter when I have any glitter that is.
One of the fun things about glitter is that you can never get quite all of it cleaned up after a project. Little wayward glitter flakes for the next week or so are a great reminder of the fun project.
Wow! Nothing like some glitter to add a bit of sparkle to our day… Thanks for the fabulous opportunity of entering. Ah – but will you post all the way to La France? Bisous

PS – your labels are scrumptious as usual.
You can never have too much glitter…or jars for that matter.

Glitter! And what lovely labels.
What I love about glitter is the thing that leads most people to despair — namely, that it gets everywhere and that a very glittery project is likely to leave you with glittery hair, clothing, footprints, etc. I love the way it lingers and adds a note of mystery and delight to everything it (inadvertantly) touches.
My dear friend Connie recently started going off her rocker glitter crazy beginning with glittered pumpkins last fall and the mania hasn't stopped. She would LOVE this so I want to win to give it to my darling friend!
kstorkko (at) hotmail (dot) com
I love the labels and the glitter! So lovely and sparkling. My mom was a glitte-phobic when I was young so I missed out. I think as an adult I'll play catch up.
Thanks for the chance!
I have never used German glass glitter before, but if I win I will be sure and put it to good use! I see projects all of the time that I would love to try, that list German glass glitter as one of the supplies needed. I hope I win! email:jzarate1232@gmail.com
I love that there's so many different colors of glitter now. Back when I was growing up, you only got the primary colors.

I do love glittery projects. Thanks for the give-away.
Seriously, SO glad I found your blog today! I love the labels – may just get me organizing my little plastic containers! My next project is applying glue dots to a project and covering them with glitter. Can't wait! mamabearstamps@yahoo.com

Glitter! I love glitter! All I can get my hands on. Awesome giveaways.
I love glitter, which is ironic because I tried banning it from the house when my girls were little and brought it home shedding from school projects. I'll definitely check out the link. Thanks for your wonderful blog.

I have always been afraid of using glitter becuase it seems to permeate everything in the house. My daughter used spray glitter on a poster 2 years ago and the glitter still sparkles in my Jeep. However, this glitter is enticing enough to get me to try it on a scrapbook page. I finally have the right kind of adhesive and I think that would make all the difference!

Try getting that out of your bathing suit!
I love glitter! My husband has banned me from buying any more (due to it inevitably ending up ALL over the house) but winning is certainly not buying. I hope you can help feed my addiction.

OOOOOOOH! Who wouldn't LOVE to have some of that great GLITTER!!!!
I would! I would! 🙂 kiyakgirl@yahoo.com
There is a stand up comic that does a bit about glitter. His name is Demetri Martin and he says, "Glitter is like the herpes of craft supplies. Once you get it on you, it never comes off!" My husband and I thought it was hysterical and now tell each other things like, "You have herpes on your forehead" when we really mean "You have glitter on your forehead."
Sometimes I forget that not everyone has heard the bit by Demetri Martin and I tell coworkers, friends or even strangers that they "have herpes on them." I get some very strange looks.
hippiechick512[at]yahoo[dot]com
Glitter's been a lifelong obsession for me. I remember wearing it on my eyelids, covering Valentines in it, and coveting other girls' red Dorothy style glittered slip ons.
Yay glitter!

gadzooks! I hope I win!
I heart glitter. When I was younger I had so many little pots of glitter gel that I used every day
My twenty something daughter lives around the corner from me, and I love that she is so close, but…….. I believe the girl is part magpie. Shiny, sparkly and the more glitter the better, is her motto. I used to be able to find her by following the trail of glitter. Nothing is safe from her in my craft room, but the glitter goes really fast. As a result, I frequently find myself out of glitter. That glitter would find a very good home with my magpie and me. It might even restore peace(until we run out).
One can never have too much glitter and glitz! I would love to glitz up some shoes. Thanks for the chance to enter the dawing.
All things look better with a bit of glitter. Just heard about Meyers glass glitter on paperclipping.com a few weeks ago. Would the chance to try an work with some. Doing a few decor crafts for my girls room…

I love glitter and I have to share my favorite glitter glitch from my third grade classroom. One of my dear friends is a glamorous glitter artist (Rene Garcia, Jr.–know his work? Check him out!) in SF, and he inspired me to do a glitter project with my class. I'm explaining, I'm demonstrating, I'm modeling….and when we begin, one little boy who spoke limited English starts picking up little bits of trash, paper, what not off the floor…you see, he thought I was saying, 'LITTER'…. 🙂
you can never have enough glitter! great giveaway =]

Glitter is great but German Glass Glitter is the best!! Love that stuff when it starts to tarnish – instant aged look!
I love glitter! I recently purchased a 24 pack of great glitter colors, but it has disappeared. I'm so sad. Each night I ask the "ghosts" in my house to return my glitter, tea mugs, measuring spoons, aloe plant, silverwear, and photograph negatives that are missing. I would love to win this so I can make more greeting cards. My email is qigongangel@gmail.com

Southern women are taught to "sparkle" in public. But I think EVERYTHING should sparkle! Glitter, glitter, everywhere!
Thanks for the chance to make a world a little more sparkly!
What timing! My daughter just came home from school yesterday with a art project completely COVERED in glitter…we are talkin' glitter all over me anll over her all over my car living room and kitchen. finally I brushed off as much as I could into the sink(is that a good place to get rid of glitter or what) and I think I can now give her her little project back…that or we might find glitter in the bedroom, dining room, bathroom, etc…….
But even with all of that- I still love glitter!!! Who wouldn't !?
I find glitter everywhere in my house–rugs, sofa, my daughter's hair…it's always a cheery thing!

There just shouldn't be a day without glitter. Recently I decided to get my nose pierced before I got too old to toddle into the piercing place… when my mom saw me next she didn't notice it. Glitter makes me happy!
"Glitter is the herpes of arts and crafts; you can't get rid of it no matter how hard you try"
-Demetri Martin
Ooh! Glitter! My friend Courtney will be so jealous! She is obsessed with shiny things!
I love glitter but I rarely get it out or let the kiddies play with it–too messy!
I don't know which is prettier, the glitter itself, or the cute labels for the glitter jars. I sort of have a love/hate relationship with glitter…love the look…hate the mess. 😉
L-O-V-E the glitter! I don't have any "fine" or "glass" glitter in my stash yet, so I'm dying to get my hands on some. The jars and labels are so pretty, too! I recently glittered some candles for the holidays. It was a very quick project and so easy.
Hope to Win! Jhoni

Oh I guess I didn't miss it. My husband loves the idea of quitting a job and then throwing a bunch of glitter at them. He makes fun of me every time I do a project with glitter. But he always likes the cards or snowflakes or what not with the glitter. If I win I will be so excited and the jokes will fly.
Thank you for your generosity.
i am immediately drawn to anything glitter! and would love to have and play with this beautiful glitter!! 🙂

So pretty. Perfect for crafts with kids….well, maybe it's too pretty for THAT! I'll save it for myself. 😉

A little glitter is all a girl needs! I use it lovingly but sparingly and rarely get to experiment with new craft supplies….I'm excited!!
Thank you! Katie

I have been experimenting with using glitter selectively in some of my acrylic paintings. It's such a neat touch!

I LOVE glitter! In fact, I went to the dentist the other day (right after a very productive crafting session), got into the chair, leaned back with the bright light on my face and the dentist says "You've got glitter all over your face!" My reply: "Well, of course I do. . . don't you????" 🙂
Thanks so much for the fun giveaway! Cheri

Oh I didn't miss it! My love for glitter is best shown by saying…before the birth of my son I had my hair done and a TON of glitter sprayed into my hair so that every time I saw my reflection I would see the glitter and it made me happy.
